About Us
The Bristol Pistols formed in 2015 as a 14U travel team that consisted of 10 players from Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, playing in mostly local tournaments from Kingsport to Knoxville. Over the past 10 seasons, we have grown and made a name for ourselves. We have traveled across the southeast playing in various tournaments from Knoxville, TN to Orlando, FL and Raleigh, NC to Louisville, KY. Since 2019, our first class of graduating seniors, we have helped over 20 girls play at the next level; including 4 of the girls that started the team back in 2015.
Our Mission
Helping our players play at the next level has been our goal since we started in 2015. Our coaching staff is dedicated to forming relationships with college coaches so we can help our players gain exposure and recognition. We also want our girls to realize our audience extends beyond the sidelines. We want to glorify God with our words and actions and give thanks to Him for blessing us with our talents.
Our Vision
As coaches, we want to equip our players with the knowledge and skills necessary to play at the next level. We take pride in selecting players that we know will be coachable and buy into the team philosophy; Defense wins games!
We want our players to understand the discipline and values they learn while playing basketball can be carried with them once their basketball career is over:
